ARUBA
Aruba is located in the Southern Caribbean 15 miles north of Venezuela. You will find some of the most beautiful white beaches; Eagle Beach is one of the top 10 beaches in the world. The temperature is around 82 degrees all the time, and very few rainy days!
Aruba is 19.6 miles long and 6 miles across, a total of 70 square miles. It is located just below the hurricane belt, and the climate is dry, compared to other caribbean islands. Along the south and west side you will find the capital city of Oranjestad, and miles of beautiful beaches.
Getting around the island is very easy. There is daily bus service that runs along the hotel strip, it is very easy to use and the cost is $2.30 each way. Car rental is also available, Aruba has well paved roads. However if you decided to rent a car, please read about the traffic signs and rules as they are different than the US.
Beach fun is always just a few steps away: snorkeling, kite surfing, water skiing, tubing, parasailing, stand up paddle boarding, or just relaxing in a lounge chair.
